One Community. Every Learner. Endless Possibilities.
The data tells part of the story. YOU help shape what happens next!
Literacy impacts ALL of us—and improving it will take ALL of us! We're bringing our community together to explore local literacy challenges, share ideas, and help shape what's next for NCLC.
Parents, educators, business owners, tutors, community leaders, adult learners—and especially those whose lives have been impacted by literacy challenges—we want YOU at the table! No expertise needed. Just your voice!

All in for Education
All In for Education: A Party with a Purpose
August 1, 2026 | The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco
The Northern California Literacy Collaborative is proud to be a beneficiary partner of All In for Education: A Party with a Purpose, a unique fundraising event bringing together five nonprofit organizations dedicated to expanding educational opportunity through literacy, research, mentorship, and evidence-based practice.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of casino-style gaming, live music, exceptional food, silent and live auctions, and meaningful connections—all while supporting organizations working to strengthen education across California and beyond.
Proceeds benefiting NCLC will help expand literacy initiatives throughout Northern California by supporting educator professional learning, school and district partnerships, family and community literacy programs, adult literacy efforts, and collaborations with libraries, universities, and community organizations.
Whether you attend, sponsor the event, donate an auction item, or help spread the word, your support will make a lasting impact.
Together, we're building stronger readers, stronger schools, and stronger communities.
Documentary Screening: The Truth About Reading (Oroville)
Join us for a community-wide screening of The Truth About Reading — an event designed to bring together everyone who cares about the future of Northern California.
All are welcome: Educators, families, Butte College and CSU Chico students and faculty, community organizations, employers, and anyone passionate about strengthening opportunity in our region.
This gathering is more than a film screening — it’s a chance to expand our Collaborative, spark conversation, and build shared momentum for improving literacy outcomes across our communities.
Come learn, connect, and be part of the movement. Together, we can ignite change and inspire future generations.
